Nice to meet you!
I’ve spent the better part of my 40 years working & living in and around Dana Point. …surfing our beaches, playing in our parks, catching fish out of our harbor and watching our town blossom and grow.
My first job ever was in John’s snack bar at Salt Creek Beach. Just a salty 13 year old kid, trying to make some pocket change and stay fed between surf sessions. In my teens I worked around town as a mover, delivering food, construction, valet at the Ritz, and on the golf course at Monarch Beach. I graduated from Dana Hills High School in ’92 and studied film at Saddleback College. My love for surfing blossomed into helping start-up a clothing company, then developed into a video production company where I traveled constantly, developing a new appreciation for home while expanding my perspective of the rest of our world. My path through action sports pointed upward, where I worked hard to grow into an Executive Vice President position for an apparel company with revenues over $200 million annually. I personally won industry awards for marketing and creative ideas but most importantly mastered problem solving. (I know there is always a solution for every situation). I continue to use these skills on a daily basis as an independent insurance broker, guiding my clients through the maze of personal and commercial insurance options.
I am lucky enough to have married a longtime friend, my wife ‘Michelle’, and we have THE cutest and best 8 year old kid on the planet!
When I’m not in the water I love golfing, photography, riding motorcycles and exploring nature with my family.
